How are we different?

We are not a DJ “agency”. You have direct access to myself (Luke) throughout the entire process. I will work with you from initial enquiry through to consultation in the lead up and then of course, bring the tunes on the day itself.

I have played at weddings, private events, clubs and pubs for years and through this experience can handle the pressure of any event.
Weddings are my favourite type of party, but they require an experienced DJ! You’ll want a DJ who can get everyone – from shy work colleagues to Nana and Pa – to bust some moves while keeping the tunes classy.

Can you setup outside?

We need total cover from the elements (regardless of rain or shine!). We also need access to single phase power. If you’re running a generator some distance from where the action is, we just need an extension to where the DJ is set up.

Equipment aside, we also need a main point of contact coordinating your wedding/special event on the day.

Do you take song requests?

Of course we do – but there’s a bit more to it than that!

Using your brief, we’ll carefully select tunes for different parts of the event. It’s also our job to take and field song requests from guests throughout the night.

If a guest requests something we know you won’t like, we’ll ask them if there’s anything else they’d like to hear. Through the process of elimination we will find a solution for your guest that aligns to your music style guide.

Also, if it’s not the right time to play a song request – but it’s something that could work – we’ll mark it in our software to play later on.

How do I let you know what music I like?

Once you have completed our contact form here, we’ll give you a call to discuss your event. We will work with you to capture your music tastes, such as genres and artists you like, as well as what you DON’T like. You can also include links to playlists you’ve put together to give us more of an idea of the music you love!

We’ve put together sample DJ mixes on our Music page to help you choose some sweet tunes you’d like on your special day.

What does your service include?

Good question! In addition to an accomplished DJ bringing the tunes at your event, our service includes: high-end speakers, DJ booth, decks and dual wireless mics for speeches (plus back up equipment, just in case).

We have fantastic relationships with local venues, event planners & photo/videographers and other suppliers to make sure everything runs smoothly!

When should we book?

The earlier the better! There are only two of us, so our weekends fill up quickly. For weddings, we recommend booking at least 9 months out to secure one of us.
